    Default libertarians?

    For a party that claims to have the best of both parties, why are so many libertarians republican? Why doesn't my dem friends claim any libertarians on their side? Why dose it seem that libertarians want to convert more repubs than dems?

    AS the Repub Party has moved further right, many traditional Conservatives feel disenfranchised. Today's GOP is fiscally liberal and socially conservative, appealing to less and less folks. Libertarians are the defenders of The Constitution and are much more intune with today. That is why the huge growth over the last two years. People have been given an alternative to the GOP that they can more closely identify with. When people read the platform at LP.org, they realize that they have found a home. That's why the LP is so attractive to white and black, young and old, Asians and to some extent Hispanics whereas the great majority of the GOP support comes from older white.

    First of all, in the Presidential elctions, the Teas supported Sen Rick Santorum. A candidate that would turn this country into a Theocracy if he had the power! There is nothing Liberty about Santorum or smaller government. He's a big spender that would limit the peoples' Freedoms!

    In regards to Libertarians in office;

    Other than Rand Paul and Justin Amash;

    That is a ridiculus assertion, you have no idea what Santorum "would have done."
    Look at the list you provided.

    I ask you for national office, you give me a list of alderman, police and fire commisions and dog catchers.
    You provide NO information to support your assertion that there has been "huge growth over the last two years."

    huge (hyj)
    adj. hug·er, hug·est
    1. Of exceedingly great size, extent, or quantity. See Synonyms at enormous.
    2. Of exceedingly great scope or nature
    Get a grip Franco.
    I admire your zeal, but you are blinded by your over the top ideology.

    Anyone that paid any attention to Santorum understands what he would have done.

    Well. I certainly don't have your passion for the status quo Repubs which includes Romney. I think the brand is broken beyond repair. The GOP may make some headway in 2014 because of Rand, but will never be popular enough across the country to ever take back the White House. Rand won't get the party's support and I predict he will break from the GOP when he doesn't. The people want him but the GOP doesn't like his politics. Does anyone really think that the military lobby is going to let the GOP get behind Rand?

    You always know what everybody else thinks or would have done.
    You always criticize the work of others.
    You are so busy shouting from the street corner, you never listen or learn.

    Funny, I feel the same way about you and some others on POTUS!

    I just figured y'all to be closed-minded and stuck on going it the way it has always been done.

    All these attacks on the Libertarian Party, yet other than wanting to end the costly failed War on Drugs, no one takes issue with anything else on the Libertrain Platform!

    Which can be found at' www.lp.org

    Yet, so many are willing to defend and support political parties that have failed the American people!

    Tha'ts true,,,but the republican party does. They spent us into oblivion,,they found ways to occupy other nations in the name of freedom,,, and they lied all the way to the bank. Mostly they are corrupt and turning our country into a corperation. Along with liberals. we are doomed with these 2 parties at the helm
