    Default Water training on land?

A recent pic of a training set-up I saw was "three down the tree-line." Does this transfer at all to "three down the shore"?

If so, what else transfers well?

I believe the concept does transfer but the water is a big factor in the process...Time lag is far greater ,memory fades, dogs give in to the long swims and want to bail out...wind has a greater effect on dog in the water than on land...I believe dogs generalize pictures of set ups and expect things to be the same...Steve S
