Rowdy (by Pirate) Repeat Barrier concept and cold blind

This morning we repeated the barrier concept in a different location. Distance is 150 yds with a slight breeze right to left. Looks like I got some sun spots on my camera lens. Maybe it needs cleaning too.

We have just started cold blinds. This is Rowdy's fourth cold blind. The distance is 200 yds. The first few were filled with lots of pinging back and forth but he is beginning to get the concept. He didn't take a great initial line but I just wanted him to go. So, I let him run until he peeled to the right. The wind picked up substantially. I had one blown whistle but I gave him the benefit of doubt and blew it a second time louder and he took that one.
He is beginning to get it but as Lardy says "That's the way cold blinds go."

Nice job both videos. He got through the barrier, but the G was on the other side this time??? Good clear casting on the blind and Rowdy stopped reasonably well except at the end I thought he blew you off? For a young guy it was good,! Yes starting out on blinds is like ping ponging !! Once they start to get it, it is sweet.. but in the meantime??. How are marking the blinds way out there Wayne? Thanks for sharing. I am envious. We got 2 " of snow again just when I thought...

Thanks ML, He did slip a whistle. I use electric wire fence posts from Tractor Supply. They are white but I spray them with orange paint. They are about 3-4' tall, about one inch square, with a pointed metal end and a step in. Almost any farm type store should have them.

Picture of blind poles I use. Available at Tractor Supply for $2.49 each. They are white and I spray paint orange. They are a little over 3 ft. long not counting the spike.
