    Default Sarge's 4th of July

Well he's been gone a month now and I made the 3 hr one way trip up to see the trainer (Jim) and spend the day with my boy. Force fetch, Collar Conditioning, and OB are done. He's in marking drills now and starting to learn to count by working doubles. He's still a little young on the concept and needs some work but he's willing to learn, we just need to make the doubles a little shorter. He's turning out to be a nice little gun dog, still got a LONG way to go though!!! Cant THANK Jim enough for the awesome job he's doing with him!

Nice pics Zach!Great to have you out.I just wish you were closer.I looked on the calendar and Saturday is 4 weeks.A little ahead of schedule ,all due to your work with him as a baby.I just wish more young dogs coming in here had that work before I get them.

Zach - thanks for the update and Sarge is looking good. Am sure Jim will teach him to warm up the truck for you next. Duck season ain't far off.

Oh - Zach. One more thing. Since your dog seems to like the Thunder equipment Jim is using you should buy a 500 so we can train with it locally. Just sayin'.

Yea!!! Let me jump right on that one.... haha. I almost feel bad for him when he comes back and realizes I don't have all the wonderful toys Jim has!
