    Default Warming up fast!

It's warming up fast here in TX. I think it was 87 yesterday and low 80's today. Took the dog out to do some pile work and she was spent after 2 rounds, maybe 5 minutes each. Was afraid to push her too hard, since her tongue was belled out pretty good. She stays outside during the day, so I thought she would be readjusting the to heat. Guess not. Maybe too much heat too soon. The time finally changes and the heat shows up 1 week later, go figure!

Easy to overheat a dog this time of year (in TX). Be careful!

Good grief! I wish we had half of that temp. Right now we're sitting at -2 w/windchill.

Yup, warmed up to 27 degrees here today. Strong winds made it feel a lot colder.

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013

The warm weather didn't last very long here. It was chilly yesterday morning. It looks like we have the potential for another freeze this weekend.

Yesterday was mid-20's and sunny with a light west wind. I took the dogs for a long walk and flushed the most pheasants I've seen in a single day for years. Just perfect!

I'll admit that once we get past the next season: Mud, spring will be nice. In Iowa it usually happens on May 14th. In the morning. Those nice sunny 60's days.
I dread the humid 87 (and above) stuff. Dogs aren't the only ones who overheat!

I may have to take this back. Today it's below 20 with a 30 mph wind... (2 F wind chill). No mud today for the first day of Mud.
