    Default Tired pups....proud owner!!!

Both of my pups introduced themselves to water today. They did it during their individual training. So, when I took them out to play together, I couldn't resist the urge. Neither one disappointed. They each did their first water retrieve today! So cool, so proud!!

Congrats! We still have ice on the water up here. Figured it might be July before I can get my pup in water!

It's not warm by Alabama standards but its not cold by any means. Our ponds NEVER freeze over. I was all for them getting in the water. They're 14 weeks.

If that water is not over 55˚, or better 60˚, it might be best to ONLY allow the pups in when its their idea. At 14 weeks they do not need any coercion, water should be nothing but fun and even then very limited. Little discomforts become major problems sometimes.

Yeah really! Warm up please. Snow most of the day. Ground is white!!!! Training in a snow squall is not fun. Lake Huron is wide open and no ice on it. Saw the lake this morning when we went shopping USA. If no ice on the lake, and if there is a N or NW wind with cold air, more snow.
