    Horses aren't eaten mainly due to the emotional attachment people have to horses, as mentioned earlier they are considered like our dogs. I personally have ate horse on several occasions and find it rather good. If you didn't know it was horse you would never guess it.

    I always thought a nice mane course would be a marinated back strap curled up like a big cinnamon roll on a Webber grill would be great ,with a 12 pack as a side dish.

    I heard someone on the news talking about most horses not being raised "for consumption", something about injection s and meds used on them that can effect people somehow. I have my doubts to that being valid but I have no idea for sure.
