Bumper Boy sold a floating contraption at the very beginning--inner tube device with a platform on it.

a few years back at one of our club tests up here the judges had a like need.
This is what they used as a "floating bumper boy"
I had to hold down my 5-gal pail of bumpers with me feet.

the $10 entry "club tests" I think some clubs would call um a training day. the big group and lots of trucks simulate a real test for the dogs and a chance at a real ribbon simulates real "Pucker" for the handlers . Give somebody a chance at $2 worth of polyester and they will get all bent up inside, ya know?

That contraption just doesn't look like it's floating to me.

    Throw him an anchor regards,

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013

I've got 2 fish feeders on pontoons on my big pond and have set a 4 shooter on top of them before.
