Talking Hail call- thank you SOOO much Gooser!!!

I didn't post this before because I was too upset, but since I know my RTF family will understand I can now. Back in January, I had to make one of the hardest decisions I have EVER made in my life and let go of my "heart dog", Star. She was just over 11 years old and suffered a stroke back in November that she just never fully recovered from, I guess. A few days before January 6 of this year, she stopped acting like herself and started moping around, having trouble walking, and stopped eating. Since this dog has NEVER missed a scrap of food that drops on the floor let alone a meal, I knew it was time to let her go. She was my introduction into playing the retriever games (as many of you on here know, I was a bird girl for 5 years before her) and we had a special bond that no other dog will ever be able to match. She was my best friend when no human would be and enriched my life more than any words could express. My heart was broken and still hasn't completely healed. I miss her dearly every day, but know that I did the right thing.

After she passed, I remembered various threads about Urns that Mr. Gooser custom makes and asked him if he would give my Star a resting place to honor her in the way she deserves. Well, fast forward a couple weeks and I could NOT be more pleased with what I got!!

Gooser, you are a very special person and have a gift for doing this. I will be forever grateful to you and would DEFINITELY recommend MooseGooser woodworking to anyone that is looking for a special resting place for their dogs. The words "thank you" aren't quite enough. God bless Gooser!

    God bless!- Jamee

Your tribute to your dog was beautiful..
I could tell through our correspondence that Star meant a lot to you.
I am very sorry for your loss, but happy it is getting easier for you.

It was a Honor to make Star a resting place so She could be with you.

    Your friend,

    Hi Jamee,

I know the feeling when over 10 years ago I had to put my Lab to sleep. She was a part of my family and I felt like I lost one of my kids. I thought I would never get another Lab but I'm now waiting for my new puppy to arrive on April 9th. I just wanted to tell you there's hope and while you never forget, it does get better!! Gooser made a beautiful remembrance for such a large part of your heart. Boy, I hope none of my friends read this......it sounds so unmanly!!! LOL

Awesome tribute! Sending you condolences for your loss. It's a deep cut to endure.
And, Gooser, you do some awesome woodwork. Very fitting for such a companian.

What great tribute! Terribly sorry for your loss. A lot of folks on here including myself know that pain all to well. Gooser you are a class act in my book for offering the beautifull urns that you make for when folks are going through this horrendous time.
