All really nice, but the folks who seem most impressed by ducks on the water have clearly never tried to photograph a bird in flight. The last shot, and especially the first one are truly amazing.

I love this first mallard photo. BUT, I just looked at you link for your retriever photos. OMG they are awesome. Since we are from Iowa, I can not believe we have not met personally at Mid-Iowa trial. Will have to be sure to do that this spring. Your work is beautiful.
Thanks. I would prefer to use a 500-600 mm lens but my budget does not permit that with all my hobbies. Instead I use a 300 mm lens. This requires me to shoot pictures at under ten feet most times. I find that any picture shot beyond that distance the eyes get blurry when the image is cropped, which in my opinion is the first thing people look at.
For those that have asked, here's a picture of my photography blind. I have thought about mounting a confidence decoy to it.
