    Default Arcadia's Senor Jefe 4-4-2003 to 1-11-2017

One of my favorite dogs passed yesterday, Arcadia's Senor Jefe. He was an original "hair on fire" lab, and anyone who ever saw him run knows would afree. He was a good dog, not great, with 10 1/2 AA points, but h]e was a pure joy to train and run, with no go's, bugging and such not even in the equation. He was hunted extensively, was very good at it, and loved it. My wife once asked me why I was breeding that crazy ass dog and I replied, "Because I would love to have a truck full of dogs like him". He gave 100% effort all the time, was fast as lightening, and just a hoot to train.

    Givem hell up there, Jef.

Sorry to hear that Tim. I hunted with him on several occasions, and he was indeed, "good at it."
    Condolences.

Jefe was "memorable" to say the least. Sorry to see so many dogs that I have spent the past decade and more with passing on. All the best, Timothy!

I fondly remember tails of Jefe. I'm sorry he's gone.

    Tim,
Very sorry for the loss of Jefe. I cannot believe is was that old. Seems like yesterday when you first got him. I am happy for the time you had with him, you have been fortunate and had a few really, really good dogs.

    Best wishes,
