U R entitled to your opinion - but I am not the one who contacted the mods, but it was evident someone did . Though it was evident to me that many disagreed with me, that does not equate to losing or as you post "loosing" .

BTW , as I scarf down a few griddle cakes in the AM - your syrup is an awesome embellishment - not everyone in my family can tell the diff .

    Mr. Sundstrum,

Be accountable for your words and actions. Do not blame what you write on the internet on someone else's perceived position in an argument.

Marvin, you accused a fellow participant of poor performance career-wise, based upon their participation in the same internet argument that you were playing in. In fact, you teed the whole thing up.

Nobody "reported" anything. If I have time, I swing by various parts of the resource to make sure everything's running right.

Marvin, you were not running right.

    Now-I am directly telling you.

Knock it off Marvin. This message should be crystal clear. Do not retort, do not argue, do not PM, do not email, do not call.

    Simply comply.

Last time I heard this discussed was 35 years ago in a discussion I had with a very bright HS student elected to our SB who went on to major in English in college, eventually become an administrator, & is probably now retired.

When I said one of my favorite exercises in English was diagramming sentences (as it broke the process down to understandable parts) she poo-pooed that process as unnecessary. Could that be one of the reasons for failure in the K-12 schools, they threw out the things that worked?

Well I learn something everday, Stan is right and Stan is wrong in his last sentence. Either a or an can be used with the word historical. It is the users choice but one thing for sure An historical day is correct just not as popular as a. Honest, I read it on the internet, I love Google.

Now what the heck was historical about yesterday? Well, other than the lesson on the English language?

I learn a lot reading PP. I may have known this all along but the recent locked thread brought me to a few conclusions.

    1) Wisdom and intelligence are not the same thing.

    2) To be wise you must be intelligent

    3) The reverse of #2 is not necessarily the case.

Now what the hell is this important day in history Stan?
