    Default Test Requirements?

If this is a stupid question I apologize as I am new to the whole hunt test world lol. I've decided I would like to run my pup (11 weeks now) in some hunt test when he gets older. I've never been to one and can't seem to find any lists of what the dog must complete to get the different titles. If I took him to a test what level would be the first title? What would he be required to do at this test? Any help would be much appreciated!

Here is the link for AKC Hunt Tests. The first level to run would be Junior.

This reference is a chart that shows all the test programs....the titles, the title requirements....everything.

If you are located in Central Arkansas....assuming Little Rock area, your best bet will be HRC. There is only 1 ACK club in the state. Link to HRC clubs were posted by cpmm665
"Force fetch isn't about retrieving as much as it is conditioning a dog to handle pressure, in a very controlled environment. It's about putting a dog in the position of having to figure out how to turn off pressure by finding the correct response. This translates into numerous areas in training." Sharon Potter.

I think the AKC MH info is dated.

Other than the distance for MH, what's outdated?

I've mentioned these to Glenda so that they can be changed.

See you Friday at Black Warrior.
