    Default Dog Food Dispenser

I have an invention idea that would deliver a specific amount of dog food quickly and easily. The amount of dog food could be adjusted as needed. How many of you would use something like that or would you find it just as easy to use the "scoop" that you use now? Thanks

We use a measuring cup, which is pretty quick and easy. But we are not feeding 20 dogs at a time. I am sure the more dogs one has, the more valuable something like that would be.

I am currently feeding 15 and have 3 different formulas between them (with 3 different measurements “serving size” options) to dispense 2X a day ....

    My method =

I have 3 plastic cups and they are cut to the height of the serving sizes:
1/4 cup (for our 14 lbs little dogs)
1.5 cups (for our medium sized 48 - 58 lb. dogs)
& 2C. (for our larger dogs and “fire breathers”

I know who gets what feed and when the pull from the bin is level to the top of the cups everything is “pre-measured.”

I think to be honest an “invention” to do what I am already doing would not be something I would spend money on because I can’t see it getting easier than this

Shark tank time ~ Sell me on it!!!!

Imagine feeding all 15 dogs with an adjustment of the amount of food dispensed and the pull of a lever. It would make feeding go faster. I know it would make feeding the 11 I have faster.

Sell me on how it seals in the nutritional quality of the food that I have paid for! This isn't like dispensing marbles!

The food would be stored in a plastic hopper, which would be no different than how I have read most people store their food. I am thinking the hopper could store a bag at a time.

I run through two bags of food a month here 40lb bags. Perhaps a bigger storage container for my tastes. Would need to hold at least 80lbs of food with a sealed top on it. Just a thought.

I would use it. I have 3 plastic ones from Cabelas now that hold 40 lbs. Build me one and I'll proof test it for you. I would like it to hold more than 40lbs. When you go through 40 lbs in a week I seriously doubt you are loosing any nutritional value

OK, I am Imagining 1) “dialing a knob” to indicate a measurement and 2) puling a lever to dispense the food into the bowls.

To me to PAY$ for a contraption to do this vs. 1) Pick up a cup/scooping and 2) put it into a bowl isn’t saving a lot of work - just spending money.

Sorry - all the best of luck I hope you make a cool million!
