"So what is big is not always the Trout nor the Deer but the chance, the being there. And what is full is not necessarily the creel nor the freezer, but the memory." ~ Aldo Leopold

"Man Sakes Alive! ... what in THE hell is that!?""It's taking me a really long time to kind of understand my place in life,"
That's what my Grandfather would have said, and it's what comes to mind here.

though i am not one myself i do support the rights of others to be homophobic. often we cannot choose the things we are afraid of and don't understand.
for instance i have a friend who owns spiders and snakes. this is a lifestyle he chooses. we are still friends even though i am extremely phobic about his lifestyle and his pets. he tells me i am ignorant and shortsighted and has offered many times to allow me to use his pets to overcome my fears. i curse his pets and tell him he is wrong in his choice......yet we are still friends. we make fun of each other.......yet we are still friends.
don't take it so personal.......if being gay is something one is born biologically to be, does it not also possibly stand to reason that not really being able to like a gay person's lifestyle is something another may have been born biologically unable to do? we are all different but it doesn't mean we can't be friends!
