Default speaking of income taxes Fraud found

So as we are cleaning out our totally trashed rental we found copies of tax returns and have 3 returns for the same year for 3 adults all claiming the same ( not on the lease minor) as a dependent.
How can I turn this into the IRS????
Yes I want them nailed!!! Anything I can do to get even is welcome as I doubt I will ever recover damages and back rent in full. At least maybe the IRS will get the triplke child credit back.

I would imagine that the IRS has flags for the that, and that they didn't all get to claim the child.

Based on their (IRS) track record would you still point it out? Anyway these slimeballs will pay something!!!! They trashed a brand new house and anything I can do well within the law to make their life miserable is worth it.
I can only go after them for $5000 in small claims. That will be done and both signatures on the lease will have seperate claims not duplicating anything filed against them.

Contact the IRS and simply ask where to send the info. The IRS will often pay a "finders fee". It might pay you for your troubles.

Good Luck with the IRS. My brother's ex wife one year claimed my niece on her taxes. My brother had full custody and the IRS was not going to let him file with his daughter as a dependent because the ex turned her forms in first. After he proved his case he was allowed to file with the dependent claim, but his ex never had to return the money.
