Default FC AFC Pineacres Ebonstar China Doll ( CHINA ) 6-20-2000/ 4-07-13

I wanted to let you know that Jimmie and Debbie Darnell lost their beloved China yesterday. She was the matriarch of Wild Wings Retrievers; taking Jimmie to the 2006 National Am and being a Finalist!!
She was that special dog that could do the work asked of her and still be the love of their hearts. Please remember Jimmie and Debbie in your thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry Jimmie and Debbie. I know it hurts... Just hang on to the great memories and look at all the good times and good friends you have because of that fine dog. My thoughts are with both of you.

I was so sorry to hear of China's passing. I didn't know her in her heyday, but can believe how good she was. I was training with Jimmie last year and while she was well past retirement, she came out on the golf cart and couldn't help herself when she saw we were doing marks. She didn't even cheat the water much, and I'm pretty sure I had to call Nala back on that mark! She was a wonderful dog, both in the field and as a friend, and I am saddened that they have lost such a beloved family member. My thoughts are with Debbie and Jimmie and I hope that the memories will bring them to happier days.

    May China Rest In Peace.

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013

My thoughts to Jimmie and Debbie. I'm sure this is a difficult time for them. China was their first field trial dog and got them started in the game. I never got to see her run, but her record speaks clearly. She was a FC-AFC, 48 All-Age points, National Finalist. Jimmie accomplished all this as a Amateur. China was the start of Wildwings Retrievers. Anyone who knows Jimmie and Debbie knows how much they love their dogs. Rest in peace China. I know Jimmie and Debbie will sure miss their "Sissy" girl.

I know the memories of China will produce many stories for Jimmie and Debbie to share for a lifetime. The pride Jimmie has in his dogs is very admireable...I love to hear his stories of China when she was running. I am very sorry for your loss!!!
