Not to make light of a tragedy but we should start a national discussion about eliminating knives or at least make people go through a background check before buying one:

If it was a Bushmaster with a 100 round magazine, I would venture to say that instead of 14 injured we would be reading about 14 plus dead.

Not interested in discussing gun control. However it occurs to me that this is a silly comparison.

The point is, instead of a gun, a knife was used. If you use the same "logic" that the gun control people use to eliminate guns to knives, then you have to attempt to eliminate knives also. Sorry, I forgot to put my wink emoticon on my original statement.

If a Remington 1100 or 870 were used I would venture to say we would have 14+ dead also.

Just wait, the poor criminals will have to start gouging out peoples' eyes with "sporks" before long! Of course then the government will have us hunting with clubs and eating with our fingers....so much for "progress".

To late ,that is called a "shank" in the government housing program. You can qualify for free federal housing whenever you commit a crime. It even comes with cable ,but the remote is broken and the TV is stuck on the B.E.T. channel.

I learned this from my wife's uncle as he is a "medication giver" (his words) we common folk call him a security guard at a federal prison.
