X2 for Fromms. The owner of our local, non-chain pet store has visited the plant. He visits most of them and knows more about dog food than I ever will an he recommends Fromms.

Nothing wrong with Fromm from a quality standpoint, but heavily worked dogs won't hold up on those foods. Its a good company and a good plant, but the formulas are intended for pets.

Dr. Tim's, Annamaet & Red Paw....are the First Tier performance foods.

I feed Eukanuba Premium Performance and have for a very long time. Pro Plan Performance, Nutri-Source Performance and Dr Tim's are good options too. Pricing does vary somewhat by location so you'll have to weigh the options and see what works for you.

We just put Harvey the Wonderdog on Castor & Pollux. He's got really bad food allergies including rice and chicken allergies. He's already looking better. We'll see.

    Erik,

We pick up our pup for Old Oak in ten days and Fromm is what we plan on going with as well. Great operation and high quality ingredients. Hard to beat.
