Default Port Arthur Spring D/Q - not finalizes on EE

Was curious if anyone had the scoop on the PA D/Q? The deadline is less than 2 weeks out. The event says its not finalized and there are no entries to date. Was looking forward to the event so I thought I'd see if anyone any info. Thanks!

Jeff (and anyone else that relies on EE),

Always go to the AKC event page as the final authority on AKC events. There is no requirement that a club utilize the services of EE (not saying that Port Arthur will not do so), but the event has to appear on the AKC page regardless of EE status. The Port Arthur D/Q is in approved status and the judges are posted at the AKC website. Use their search page https://www.akc.org/events/search/in...2&fixed_tab=12 to see it. On the pull downs, specify the event type (in this case, field trial), click on the state(s) in which you are interested, and select a time range. When looking for upcoming events, I always select "all future events". There is a lot more information you can discover there, including past entry sizes for events as well as past results. FYI, the info for Port Arthur is:

    Class Judge

    FT Derby
    Tracy Farmer
    Ken Barton
    $85.00
    FT Qualifying
    James Ausmus
    Steve Karr
    $85.00
    FT Amateur All-Age
    Not Offered
    FT Limited All-Age
    Not Offered

Note that judges are clickable items (you have to be on the search site to click productively) and you can find out where they are from and their judging history if you are so inclined.

This event is now up on EE, so you can enter your dogs.
