Default HT CLUBS: What's in your Marshal's Box?

In the process of re-organizing our clubs Marshal boxes and would like to hear suggestions of what others provide at each stake? If there is something you have found useful or wasteful? If you have been a marshal, what did you wish you would have had available? Thanks for your ideas!

    Denise-
We keep the following in ours: AKC misconduct booklet, AKC Rule book for FT or HT depending on the event running, pencils, pencil sharpener, sunscreen, bug spray, a bottle of rubbing alcohol to disinfect duck calls for our HT events, duck calls, a couple of garbage bags, extra poppers, clip board and marshal's sheets, small ziplock baggie with minor first aid stuff- bandaids, neosporin, etc., and a bottle of hand sanitizer.

    Truka has a good list.

Add: extra batteries for radios, a big heavy duty hammer to pound in holding blinds, a note pad for the marshalls in case they need something more to write on, a who to contact list of names and cell numbers for all who are working the trial, and a well-equipped first aid kit for humans and dogs. In addition to bandaids and Neosporin, the first aid kit contains gauze, surgical tape, and good scissors for larger wounds, eye wash, Q-tips, tweezers, and Benadryl. We check expiration dates on all medications prior to any event. Benadryl is very important to have on hand.

LOL! We actually do this already. Coffee and donuts out to the field in the morning for judges, workers and marshals.

Thanks for the great suggestions and lists!
