In the past I've always run HRC but this past weekend I went to the "dark side" and ran an AKC event....Double Master and an Owner/Handler Qual! Had a BLAST and I may be hooked! My 2 year old HRCH Timber walked away with a 3rd in the 23 dog Qual and 2 Master passes! 10 series was a lot in 3 days! Couldn't be happier with the little guy! Sorry...Just had to share!
You mean you remembered to wait to send your dog until after the judge released you? Seriously, I think it takes a pretty special dog to hold things together for 10 series. CONGRATULATIONS!!! And welcome!
Very nice job Matt! Impressive! Hope to see you at a few more AKC HT and FT's soon. Check out EE for the Wolverine trial in MI in May. Great judges and allot of friendly folks.
note also matt that it is very interesting, a little ol' hrch titled dog could go 2 for 2 in those "killer master tests" and be one little upwind pass on a mark or one little scallop on a cast away from a QAA designation!.........hmmmmm?
"may be hooked" LOL, Yup that head to head competition with other dogs is a rush, almost as good as Bud Light Lime! I’m thinking they set the hook pretty deep, like drove the barb into bone
I am hooked! And you always could've shared your Bud Light Lime Matt!!! And CONGRATS to YOU and Alfie for winning the Q! Glad to see a yellow dog win it! What a nice animal!
Very Nice Matt, we knew the two of you were a very good team when we watched you at the Jamboree. You had some other nice dogs as well.
Congratulations,
Colleen
Congrats! Did they have black eyes and forked tongues?
Never looked in the mirror regards,
RF
