No shortage of ammo here; http://www.lafayetteshooters.com/Ammunition/3169/Dept Maybe WalMart is low because most general retailers don't stock up until right before the hunting season.

    Franco....

Help Gooser out with the link you provided..
Its Inventory is very similar to what most everyone elses is in the country.

I cant find any 9mm pistol amm on your site.
I dont see the availabilty of .22 rimfire ammo there either.
There is a blank page for .223 also..

It seems to me the way I veiw that site they are VERY low on ammo.

Walmart and the like will still have .270, 30/06 300 winmag rifle available on a consistent basis,, but NEVER pistol ammo, .22 rimfire..

Help Gooser out if I am not navigating the site correctly!

Franco, by looking at their site they are out of .22 and handgun ammo, with the exception of birdshot rounds in handgun calibers.

Gooser, whats the going rate for 9mm used brass (range picked)?

You figure out how to get the primer back in there and I might be in too.

Actually am considering getting a good pellet gun for general plinking and shooting rats.

I just called them(Lafayette Shooters). They have all the 9mm hollow point ammo you want as well as .223. Their phone number is on that site. I just don't know if they can ship it across state lines.

Who knew HSA was buying up all the .22 rimfire ammo? LOL!!

Hugh, I have a .177 Ruger Airhawk that I really like. I'm quite sure that with PBA Raptor pellets it would be effective on small game.-Paul

An ad in today's Dallas Morning News from a local Pawn Shop advertises a 50-round box of .45 ammo at $49.95 and $43.95 for a box of .40 ammo. At those prices, who can afford to go to the range and shoot anymore? I've got a 50-round box of 9mm in my ammo locker that I paid $9.99 once upon a time.
