What a heartbreaker. Give the kids a hug and the reassurance that this isn't the way that it always turns out.

Terry and I send our most sincere condolences.

Words are just inadequate to express the loss of a young member of the family. Prayers to all

    I feel terrible for you....

We're just finishing up building a house and our backyard hasn't been seeded yet, and all the rain has created some washouts. My wife was playing fetch with her and we think she must have it one just right. She always runs 100mph when retrieving and doesn't exactly pick the safest lines. We didn't see anything unusual and she never showed any pain. About 10 minutes after they were done playing she was dragging one leg, about 30 minutes later both were lifeless. Not even deep pain sensory. My older lab is 13 and going deaf. Hopefully he hangs on for a while yet.

Oh God. How awful for you. Please get another pup as soon as you are able. I hope your heart heals soon.
