    Default Gun Debate

    http://townhall.com/columnists/annco...4789/page/full

I know many have mentioned they don't think much of Ann Coulter. I don't agree with her on everything, but I think that she has a good point in this article about the effects of gun control (specifically, concealed carry laws) If you are interested in the gun control debate, this is worth reading. She is citing John Lott's extensive research that has now produced a 3rd edition of his book: More Guns, Less Crime ...

The final lines of the article

Suffice it to say that of the 177 separate analyses run by all these critics, only seven show a statistically significant increase in crime after the passage of concealed-carry laws, while 90 of their own results show a statistically significant drop in crime -- and 80 show no difference.

It is far easier to spit on the work of others than it is to produce something better yourself.

I don't care for Coulter, too much of a NeoCon. She attacks the Libertariana Party and yet, it is the ONLY political party that has taken a stand against gun laws! In fact, the Libertarian Paty's stance is that law abiding citizens should not be subjected to ANY gun laws.
