Default Americans Fear Government More Than Terror?

Granted that this is from the WND website.
    http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/americans...e-than-terror/

A timely and needed subject matter and I do agree that there is more fear of our government than for Islamic terror. Governments throughtout history have used fear as a way of managing the populace. i.e. if we don't invade Iraq, they will use thier chemical weapons against us or if we don't raise taxes, old folks will suffer etc. Fear is government's biggest weapon.

Over the last 50 years, both the Repubs and Dems have ignored The Constitution. It has become such common practice that they think nothing of it. Now, it has gotten to the point, especially over the last 15 years that the American people are losing more and more of thier Rights at an excellerated pace and really don't seemed too concerned about it. That was until a very few in Congress and some political writers started talking about it and raising awareness of our Liberties lost.

The Libertarian Party believes that all persons are entitled to keep the fruits of their labor. A call for the repeal of the income tax, abolishment of the Internal Revenue Service and all federal programs and services not required under the U.S. Constitution. We support the passage of a "Balanced Budget Amendment" to the U.S. Constitution, provided that the budget is balanced exclusively by cutting expenditures, and not by raising taxes. LP.org

This would make a good poll.

Just by the numbers there would be more people to fear from the government than terror cells.

But in none of those categories do they want you dead....

Articles like this along with posts like this are all aimed at telling you what you should be afraid of and identifying a known "boogeyman"....I would like to think that most on here are bright enough to know who and what they fear

I'm not one bit concerned with a terrorist killing me. I now drive instead of flying when I can. I'm not worried about a terrorist when flying as much as I hate the TSA and their putting thier hands all over me. I am fearful of our Liberties lost. The bigger the government, the more Liberties we cede to them.

I am more afraid of some of the people that show up on POTUS and their mode of thinking and the fact that they may vote...
