Thought I would post this for anyone wanting to check it out.
The following is concerning a product on the market called Flex for joint care in dogs.
Published in the Internat'l Jrnl of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine are the results of a laboratory study comparing Prolabs Flavonoid Mixture (F.M.) with Glucosamine/Chondroitin. The findings concluded that dogs given the F.M. showed statistically significant improvements over dogs taking Cosequin DS (glucosamine, chondroitin, manganese, & ascorbate). The improvements also showed that the F.M. has a faster onset of action for treatment of OA.

For those of you so inclined to read the research, let me know & I can send you the 13 pg article on the study so that you can make your own informed decisions about this.

It does seem, however, that Flex might be worth trying out.
