    whats the pros and cons of box launchers

    I use one all the time, custom built . Great for diversion birds, marks and walk ups. Compact, quick to load. springs wont wear out as fast as bungies , if they even do.

    I guess the only thing I can think of If your at quite a distance maybe adjust the arc higher on a winger

    I have a few of the Zinger Uplander and use them for gun conditioning young dogs without the need for a second person. Also if the dog takes the bumper out of the launcher, there is no fear that the launcher will release like a traditional winger. These launchers will not launch as far or high as a winger but they great for walk-ups and diversions because of their low profile. If you plan on using them for upland work, I would look at a smaller unit like the DT unit but the DT units release the bird versus launch a bird/bumper. One other pro is the springs last a lot longer than bands on the wingers.
