    Default Costco Flea/Tick preventative.

Anyone tried the Costco brand flea/tick preventative. I saw it at Costco the other day and it looks like its a great price (19 bucks for 6 doses).

Looks like it has the same active ingredients as bio spot defense.

How much do your dogs weigh?

Nope haven't had fleas in 10 years or so, but they are calling for a pretty bad tick year.

FWIW, when I looked at the Costco brand, I could only find on the the package that it only killed one type of tick (deer ticks, if I remember). I stayed with Frontline since it covers, brown dog, American dog, lone star, and deer ticks, even though that price was awfully tempting.

I would stick with frontline. To save a little money you can buy the frontline that is ment for the largest dog and draw it up in a syringe. Frontline dose is weight based. If you look on 1800 pet meds website it will give you the mL you need to administer or to save you some time I could PM it to you.

I already use Frontline spray. It costs about $3 per dose but its a little labor intensive so thought I'd ask about this stuff and if it might work as well. No biggie....

I will avoid Made in China on chemicals for my dog.
