Has anyone ever used this, one of my females has a hot spot and lost some hair under her neck due to a food allergy, wi this product help and promote some hair growth?
I used to use Happy Jack Pad Coat, the blue stuff for hot spots and minor skin irritations on my beagles years ago. It worked great and even cured a rash on my hand from chemicals at work.
Natural Rearing's Seaweed Mineral helped one of my girls grow back hair after a skin infection under her neck. It does not treat hot spots, but does help with the coat. This dog now has the best coat she's ever had so we are keeping her on the seaweed.
I use Corona for pretty much any cuts, scrapes, abrasions, etc. It does make a mess but it'll heal them up quick. I even use it on myself. Tractor Supply sells it in the horse medication section.
Sulfodene, Vetericyn and EMT gel are all really good. Sulfodene is actually FDA approved for hotspots. Great to have in the toolbox and you can get it at the supermarket.
