Default IRS: Holly Paz is gonzo?

One report on line says that the IRS fired Holly Paz (underling to Lois Lerner) on Friday, June 7. Last week the IRS was asked if she was fired and the IRS would not confirm. Reporters tried reaching her, but could not. Their calls went to her voice mail.

If Holly Paz has been fired, she is the first person at the IRS who has been fired.

They had to have a scapegoat. But why fire an underling to Lerner? Do they really think that's going to satisfy anyone? It has to be from Lerner on up... assuming that's where the orders came from.

I certainly can't argue with the preceding 4 post. I totally agree except for going directly to jail, by pleading the fifth she now has time to go home and say her goodbyes before I hope going directly to jail.

If we are going to throw out the fifth Amendment, what other ones should we do away with?

We don't need to throw out the 5th... Just throw out those who work for US... And won't answer OUR questions. They don't have to answer. But we don't have to keep them as employees.

never said anything about doing away with the 5th....but in past Congressional hearings when someone takes the 5th they did so with the very first Q, didnt Mark McGwire take the 5th when he was in front of the Congressional hearing investigating steroids in baseball

Judge Napolitano summed it up the simplest and the best...the Amendments tell us what we are entitled to do..the Bill of Rights tells us what the Government cant do to us while we pursue them

I may not agree with pornographers, or the Westboro Church....but if I deny them their Freedom of Speech, then my 2nd Amendment Rights arent worth a darn thing..in other words its all or nothing , I dont get to pick and choose which ones I wish to be upheld

The two posters above me said we should do away with the fifth. As far as what Lerner did, just because it had never been done before does not make it illegal, not even Fox could not come up with case law on it. It would interesting to see the out come if they claim contempt. I am simply defending the fifth amendment, not Lerner, I think that she at the very least should lose her job and jail may be very fitting.

I never could figure out what in the he!! Congress had to do with baseball & steroids. Is that what we elected them for? What a waste of time and taxpayers money to hold hearings, let the baseball commissioner hold hearings if he wants!
