Would love to, but have to find one to go watch, first.

Me, too. It sounds like a lot of fun and well suited for my older pheasant dog.

Why do you ask? Are you running them?

The Heart of Texas Spaniel Club (near Austin) is going to put on a "mock hunt test" this summer specifically to help retriever owners prepare for our hunt test in the fall.

You are also welcome to come train on upland hunting w/ the club on Saturday mornings. If anyone is interested, PM me.

The English Springer Spaniel Club of Central Kansas will be having our hunt test on September 14th and 15th. Retrievers are welcome to come. The hunt test will be held in Spivey KS which is about 1 hour west of Wichita. If anyone is interested in getting together to train prior to this please send me a PM and I will get you my phone number. I can get pigeons to train with and later in August can probaly get some chukars. We will have excellent judges for this and we look forward to seeing you there.

I'd like to. hard enough to find time to run retriever tests! It's on the bucket list though.

And I'd like to see some of the Versatile dogs running Retriever venues. Maybe that will finally shut 'em up. (kiddin') (kinda)

Has anyone seen the hunting style description yet? It's 10 days away and still nothing on Labradors.
