Makes it easier to ID our Kate from a distance even though it is just a little odd bend. No big deal. someone will love that dog anyway!. Better yet keep her a put all sorts of title on her just because she can do it.

Do you really want to increase entries at the Junior Hunt Test level? Simply put a limit on entries and everyone will flock to JR and fight over how to get in and what to change to make it fair for all !!!!!

I gave serious thought to keeping her - but I *really* wanted a male dog out of this litter. The Sire and the Dam's Sire both had outstanding solid looks as male dogs, and I'm really hoping we come out with a really big male dog that looks like a ton of bricks.

Somehow I think I'll have an easier time finding "Crook" a home than anyone else...

Mine has something similar about 2/3 the way down here tail. Vet explained it as a "slipped" or "protruding disc" --- its a lump of cartilage and a bend as a result of some damage to the tail, but from the time I have noticed it until now its never hurt her or had any negative effects associated with it....unless aesthetics and a flawless physical specimen are your requirements.
Send "Crook" to me, I wouldn't mind and could give the 8 week old "damaged goods" a great home

If I were still in NE Texas I would be on my way in a New York minute for that pup. If she is out of the litter I'm thinking they won't be making any more, straight tail, crooked tail or no tail doesn't make the dog?

There is one headed to SC - shouldn't be too far from you. Not sure how she's going to get there yet...

Here's a picture of "Crook's" tail - and one of her face. She's a real motivator. Almost got out of the whelping box this afternoon!

from what I can see it appears to be broken, I am pretty sure the Vet would have picked up on this when you had them in?
