    To me a trick test is one that goes against a dogs natural inclination and against training for the skills we train on to enhance those natural abilities. For example a triple with 4 gun stations that all shoot but only 3 birds thrown. I'd much rather see tough bird placement that demonstrates a dogs marking and memory. I often see tests that are based on training scenarios vs ability.
