    At what age should a Labrador get OFA,EIC , etc... certifications done?

    It depends on the test. OFA wants the dogs structure as an adult (24 mos+) before grading hips. EIC, CNM & CERF eye exams can be done at any time. I don't think there are age criteria for other tests either.

    Minimum of 18 months if you are doing cardiac, but OFA will accept 12 months.

    CERF (eye) exams are good for a year.

    Eye exams recommended at 7 weeks for Labrador pups, then annually if the dog will be used for breeding.

    Is there any negative for doing hips and elbows at three years old?
