Default The National Amateur Pick 'Em Winner Is ...

The results for the National Amateur Pick ‘Em are up. The Retriever News and Entry Express would like to congratulate Trey Lawrence as this year’s winner. CONGRATULATIONS! Trey will receive a year’s subscription to Retriever News as well as some Retriever News Gear. WAY TO GO, TREY! Since by now, everyone is aware of the glitch we had in programming with this year’s Pick ‘Em, please be aware that in the future, “Picks” will close at Midnight -- 12:00 am Sunday morning before the event starts.

We at Retriever News hope that you all enjoyed the coverage as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. It was a tricky location as far as connectivity as so many of you can attest to if you have been in this area of rolling hills in northwest Wisconsin. There were long hours...a typical day was 15-18 hours for team members: Tera Lanczak, Gwen Jones, Sara Sommerfeld and myself. And, of course, we could not have covered the event without the unending help from all the countless volunteer committee members whose hard work made the National Amateur Championship the premier event that it is. THANK YOU! And also a “Thank You” goes to Lainee for keeping up with the Summary so diligently on RTF.

In case anyone wishes to order any commemorative 2013 National Amateur merchandise, visit RetrieverOutfitter.com ... All proceeds go to the Canine Health Foundation. FYI, during the course of the year, you can view up-to-date results and standings on Retriever News Express...accessible from TheRetrieverNews.com website and also published in the Entry Express catalogs.
