Default Lost dog-keep an eye out please --- FOUND!

I hate having to make this post but a very good buddy of mine lost his dog out hunting early this week. They were southeast of white wood. The dog is a 3 year old female black lab she has an orange collar on and an ecollar. Her name is Rue. If anyone happens to see her or hear of a dog running loose in that area please call me at 605 480 2454.

So sorry to hear that. Did he contact the local radio stations? I know a lot of people in Spearfish/Sturgis listen to the Classic Rock station out of Rapid - 95.1 FM, I think. Hope she's found okay!

I'm not sure if he did not not. The spearfish station probably won't help much but calling the brookings , Watertown, Huron stations might be a good idea

Okay, Lake Whitewood. If he needs help, let me know and I can certainly contact the radio stations, if they haven't been already.

Have not been out that way to hunt at all yet this year. If I hit the area this weekend, I'll keep an eye out. Was he in a public area?

Is the dog microchipped? We get a notice from Home Again when there is a dog lost in our area. You might go through their lost dog service. They notify all the vets and shelters in the area. If you have a picture to attach to the notice that helps a lot.

    Good Luck!!
