    Danielle, I didn't notice the first time I read this that you're from Hemingway. I'm in Georgetown with a young Boykin Spaniel. Are there any other local people that you talk to on here?

    I generally just train by myself, I've only lived here since October, when I got out of the Army. My wife's grandparents have some land we have set up for bird hunting, but he grows crops in the ponds, so they're drained right now. This weather sure does need to start playing along. She's only 3 months, so she's got a lot of training to go, but she's definitely got drive, and she's a solid retriever. I'd like to get her on some pigeons before dove season just to do some live birds in a little more controlled environment than a dove field.
