CHF Benefits from 4th Annual TruckVault Cares Initiative

A record-high seven groups, including the AKC Canine Health Foundation, will share in funds and national publicity provided via Scott Linden's Wingshooting USA television series in the 2013 "TruckVault Cares ... for conservation, canines & kids" initiative.

Lead sponsor TruckVault is joined in the effort by co-sponsors Filson, Kent Cartridge, Happy Jack, Webley & Scott, Royal Flush Adventures, Linden's Signature Series dog gear and Pursuit Channel television network. Wingshooting USA viewers are urged to vote online for their favorite group to earn a portion of the $10,000 pot funded by TruckVault and other sponsors. Beneficiary group members are encouraged via print and online efforts to "go viral" and garner even more votes.

Each vote directs funds on a proportional basis so that all organizations receive dollars for their treasury. This year's beneficiary groups include: AKC Canine Health Foundation, Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation, American Brittany Rescue, Ruffed Grouse Society, National 4H Shooting Sports, International Hunter Education Association, and the U.S. Sportsman's Alliance Foundation Trailblazer Adventure program. Linden said the strong response to the public-awareness aspect of his initiative led him to increase the number of groups from four to the seven competing this year for funds. All receive equal amounts of national television publicity in the form of free TV commercial spots and in-show informational features on Wingshooting USA.

The AKC Canine Health Foundation participated in the 2011 TruckVault Cares initiative and proudly earned over 48 percent of all the votes cast and a donation of over $4,800 to support canine health.
