    Default First HRC hunt tests

Thanks to all on here who gave me tips and advice.
    WE DID IT!
    2 seasoned passes!

Had a great time. Met lots of nice people. Weather was cool, and we ran at over 10k feet.

Wow, how much fun is that? Another wonderful water dog in the making. I will be running my new girl in September for her first pass....cannot wait!

    Thanks all.
I know I asked lots of questions because I didn't know things, and some here didn't have many good things to say, even up to he wasn't ready for doubles, and they wouldn't hunt with him, but I took each criticism, and worked on them.
He still needs work, but he didn't break and nailed every bird. Whistle sits at distance is his weak spot.

Met lots of super nice people, the weather was on the very cool side, to the point of needing a jacket, got rained on, had mud, and learned a bunch.
The western Colorado hrc club is a great bunch of people.
    Thanks!

And Hugh did give me some really good tips! He also was a judge on Sunday and gave me no slack.
