    Default Field Trial Signs

I need help finding directional Field Trial signs. I'm looking for the paper ones that Purina used to have that you could staple to telephone poles etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Phyllis-

If you're on sign detail, I'll share two basic "rules of thumb" to make them more useful....particularly if the signs are for major roads as opposed to pff-road on the grounds.

    1. Post the signs well in advance of the intersection. Maybe put two signs out...one a hundred yards and one say 20 yards. There's nothing worse than to first see a pertinent sign just as you drive by.

    2. Put your signs on the left side of the road, not the right. On the right side many drivers will miss them or have a reduced time to recognize their meaning.

Seven years after that post, we still have most of those signs. We recently bought some new ones that are half the height so store more easily. The signs Rebel Ridge uses are the best I have seen, though. They have stake names and arrows you attach to the sign with velcro. The signs are bright yellow and easy to see.

These are similar to the last ones we ordered. Cheap, durable, and easy to store.

You could make signs using MS Word and print them on an ink jet or color laser printer. Choose a heavy paper that will hold up if it gets damp.

    I know!
as I was pulling up the signs at 3 in the afternoon a smal child on a bike rode past me and asked what a
"tring" (how she said it) day was? it was very funny as I had readed over it tons and not seen a thing.
Dang those smart kids these days
but everyone found the field and stood in the hot sun played fetch.
