Default how often do you feed?

pup is approaching six months - once your dog reaches adulthood - how often do you feed per day? If it's once, how did you go about the transition from three times a day puppy food - to the once a day? My pup is a chow hound and is always hungry (or ready to eat)? Thanks

Go to Castile Creek Kennels website, look under puppies, scroll down and there is an article about feeding. I feed once a day now that everyone is grown.

Twice a day. A trainer told me he fed the dogs twice a day because he wouldn't want to only eat once a day.

I feed my puppies twice a day until the are 8 month old. Then, I put them adult food and switch to once a day. ( I don't like to train them after feeding them) I read the bag and adjust from there.

If you do a search, you will find many threads on how to look at your dog and know, that you are feeding then the correct amount of food.

I feed twice a day. I don't eat once a day and my dogs are treated better than me. Also I like to spread it out with the heat of summer and I want them to have food in their belly during winter.
