    If ya wanna pump, 870.
If ya want an auto, 11/87.
    Or just go O/U.

I used to shoot a SX3 now I have a Versa Max. Both are great guns but the Versa kicks like a 20 ga with 3.5's which is why I sold the SX3. I had two surgeries on my shoulder and the Versa is the ticket.

I have yet to see an auto that at some point didn't turn into a single shot. A good buddy has an Extrema, and it went a number of years without an issue, but last year it gave out in cold/dirty conditions. I would like to use one, but have not been convinced of thier reliability.

    pump user regards,

That's the reason I shoot a SBE 1. I have 2 in fact................one for upland and one for the blind. 10's of thousands of rounds thru both.

    pump user regards,
I have a Mossberg 9200 and has never not cycled in cold weather and I'm talking 10 degrees and a blowing wind. The Berreta is the only other one I've seen not freeze up in the cold. I also run mine dry during the bitter cold, that way the oil doesn't thicken.

I agrew with the pump, but not the auto. The post 90's 1187's are junk IMO. You take 100 of them and you may be luck to find 25 that have no issues.

My experience with them is that if you took 100 of them; you may wind up with enough pieces from that 100 to make 25 relatively reliable guns.................maybe!!

I love the Super Vinci. I do know its a gun that fits you or doesn't. Remingtons new auto may be just the ticket. Did you try a Black Eagle

William, yes I did like the SBE II. That may be what I buy as I do like Benelli products. I suppose the best thing to do is go to the store and shoulder the guns.

Benelli SBE I or II, Beretta 391 or A400, or a Browning or Beretta O/U
