Our deepest condolences to Scotty, and all the family. I was so blessed to call him my friend. I will miss his laughter and stories. He gave so much to our sport!
    I still can't believe it....

The Maddox family is so truly honored to have Dr. Bill Teague deliver my brother Philip's eulogy tomorrow. Dr. Teague is unarguably one of the Hunt Test community's most eloquent men. Knowing how much Philip absolutely loved and respected him made Dr. Teague our family choice.

David, I am so sorry to read this horrible news. Even though I did not spend alot of time around your brother, I remember how close the two of you were and will never forget his warm, sweet smile. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Wow Kim. It's been such a long time.
Yes, we will all miss Phil's smile and beautiful blue eyes. He's a very special person that I will miss tremendously. We are as close as any two brothers could possibly be. I am so grateful that I held Phil's hand as he crossed over.

Kim, I do want you to know that I have for years used your grandfathers philosophy of "Just when you think they have it, you're halfway there". Hubert R. Pyle, Sr. He too was a special man who has had an impact on both my coaching and training success.

Very sorry.....Just understand that they are waiting for you when the time comes....Until then and let the memories bring a smile to you and maybe watch a future pup to do the same things that maybe they did that will make you smile. It is never easy, but other new dogs in your life will hopefully make you smile and understand why we are as we are......

David, my condolences - it's clear from the posts that Philip was a special man, and you two had an extra special bond as brothers. I'm glad you could be with him when he left this earth.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss Dave. Phil was a brother to a lot of us in the dog game.
