Update from two hours ago from National Geographic. Looks like the are thinking of attempting an ice wall to stop the leak. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...oactive-leaks/
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us to no end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

Fukushima update Aug 27th. Experts have also warned that the effort to gain control of the reactors – which is likely to take 30 years – could be undone if another major earthquake or tsunami strikes.Japan’s environment ministry also announced yesterday a plan to step up decontamination efforts in the 18-mile exclusion zone around the plant. http://fukushimaupdate.com/tepco-sid...eaks-continue/
