    Default Swim-by pond?

A pond near my job that I was thinking would be an ok swim-by pond. It's ~25 yds across narrow end. I could at least do force to the pile, and switch sides to do left and right casts.

Is that to far of a swim though? I read it should be 10-15 yds.

I've used a cove like this 4 or 5 times and it works fine.

It'll work just fine. You have to work just a little harder.

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013
