Been pretty calm on RTF lately. We had a full moon this past week along with more than one trial in which non-derby stakes went less than four series.
An Open did not have a land blind, yet finished by noon Sunday. At another trial the Qual. had only one dog survive the first series. This lone dog ran a water blind and the stake ended.
What do you feel are legit reasons to have less than four series in any stake?

Interesting John, but inquiring minds would like to know at which trial this occurred
No need to name names
