Do you all have ideas on where to find online articles on training?

    Thanks

One of my favorite is Andy Attar's trust, respect, duty and conflict

You can also view issues of Bird Dog & Retriever News:

For example, basic 4-square training framework:

Here is a 2003 (approximately) re-discovered link via a Webcrawler that has many, many training articles. Many of the links within the "work" are no longer valid. However, what remains is well worth a "trip into the past".

    ARHRC.com Library (link)

edit: The Dobbs link MS cited is one that is "missing" from the Webcrawler link. His fills in that "gap".

The dobbs method was a "soft burn" instead of the more common (these days) indirect pressure (Lardy, Graham, Farmer, etc.). For example:

    https://www.dobbsdogs.com/library/retrievers/rj11.html

"we will correct the dog WITHOUT express handler input. When the dog runs around, you make one small area of the land route consistently uncomfortable for the dog using your e-collar, saying nothing as you press the button."
Beware! This could be confusing to a retriever who has been trained using indirect pressure methods.
( Do not mix training programs)

    Oh...also Retrievers Online:

These aren't on line, but well worth the $.
    Mike Lardy's Retriever Journal Articles.

Dennis Voigt's Retrievers ONLINE back issues.

Both well worth the money and the best part is that nothing you will read from either source will be in conflict with anything from the other.
