Ticks are a real problem in the Northeast. We use the Seresto Collar, and it works great, even with a lot of swimming,

Thinking of switching from K9 Advantix II to Seresto. I'd like to hear more opinions of Seresto especially with dogs that will be swimming a lot during summer training.

I used Seresto on 4 dogs last year and it worked great. I will buy 4 this week and they will last into November when the ticks are done. At $50 per dog for 8 months it is a pretty good value.

As on other thread I have them on all four of my dogs. I feel they are very effective. We have a few areas up here loaded with ticks. After pheasant hunting last year I came out to guys picking multiple ticks off thier dogs ... I picked three off of me ... None on my two dogs that I had with me. Just bought 4 more and will put them on if winter ever decides to end up here.

We use http://www.petarmor.com/product_dogs/petarmor-for-dogs/ , found at Walmart. Works great.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

I am currently using advantix2 but living in a tick belt I am considering adding seresto or scalibor collars too.

I used to use petarmor but just switched to advantix II. Didnt have a problem with Pet armor, just convenience of getting it.
