I am all for it...Am sick and tired of the empty suits saying nothing of real substance..Lets talk in a language the common man understands, no lawyer mumbo jumbo..

This is an example of a politician having no backbone. It appears he is afraid to stand up for what is right. He feels he has to pander to the minority for saying Black lives matter, White lives matter, all lives matter. Now he is apologizing for saying White Lives Matter and All Lives Matter. How weak.

So what I get from this is O'Malley feels White Lives really do not matter or he would have the backbone to stand his ground and say all lives matter regardless of race, religion, or gender.

When they shouted, "Black lives matter!" a rallying cry of protests that broke out after several black Americans were killed at the hands of police in recent months, O'Malley responded: "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter."

Invoking the familiar names of blacks who died at the hands of police, including Eric Garner, Michael Brown and Tamir Rice, thousands have taken part in protests across the country calling for a more aggressive federal response to recent slayings by police. A protester is arrested at the demonstration on December 13 in Oakland.

The demonstrators, who were mostly black, responded by booing him and shouting him down.

Later that day, O'Malley apologized for using the phrase in that context if it was perceived that he was minimizing the importance of blacks killed by police.

"I meant no disrespect," O'Malley said in an interview on This Week in Blackness, a digital show. "That was a mistake on my part and I meant no disrespect. I did not mean to be insensitive in any way or communicate that I did not understand the tremendous passion, commitment and feeling and depth of feeling that all of us should be attaching to this issue."

Harry Reed would be a good candidate but he can't see his notes through those sunglasses in a debate.

SteveMo got it right##14. I posted earlier Bernie Sanders last week got booed off a "progressive" stage by female black protesters chanting "Black Lives Matter" . He retorted all lives matter and he has a pre-1965 open record of southern Civil Rights marches and public support. He calls it as it is -- the SHE and her SHEits..will not be denied by another man.
